Just Ask...
What support can we offer you?
Where to start with thought work...
You are very familiar with where to start with developing a character outside yourself.
You also know how to navigate what your body needs, whether workouts, personal training, fitness regimen, nutritional protocols, rest, hydration, wellness exams.
Even so...
You may be new to thought work.
Welcome!
A good way to start is with thought downloads.
Make a commitment to write down your thoughts for 5 or 10 minutes (consider doing this every day that you work out your body).
Your brain will begin to see that this commitment means something.
If you feel any resistance to the downloads, try telling yourself one of the following thoughts:
'my mind is worth so much more than 10 minutes a day'.
'I want to find my negative thoughts'
'Where am I stuck?'
'Why am I angry/hurt/bored?'
'What am I worried about?'
'What decision am I postponing?'
Once you have written the thoughts, take a look a your page and circle anything that is factual. (Court of law factual)
Note that everything else is a thought.
Take a moment to choose one thought. It doesn't have to be the 'deepest' one or the most 'serious' one.
Every thought, examined, takes us somewhere.
That thought is your beginning.
Now what?
You have this thought...
Some questions.
Does it serve you?
Does thinking it get you where you want to go?
What feeling does the thought generate?
Does that feeling create actions that serve you?
If not, what thought could you have that would get you closer to what you want?
